About Muwanguzi Delan
Muwanguzi Delan lives with his mother and father in a single, congested room in Mawugulu Village. During the foundation’s first assessment on 10 July 2026, it was observed that he required substantial assistance with movement, feeding, communication and other daily activities. At the time of the visit, he was unable to sit upright independently, communicate verbally or feed himself without support.
Delan had not been receiving the specialised medical assessment, therapy and rehabilitation services needed to support his development and daily wellbeing. His parents remain responsible for his full-time care, but limited household resources make it difficult for them to meet his medical, nutritional and developmental needs consistently.
Francis Lubega Children Foundation registered Delan for continued support and provided the household with essential supplies during the initial visit. The foundation intends to work with the family to improve his access to medical care, therapy, assistive support and other services that may strengthen his comfort, participation and quality of life.
Beneficiary Additional Details
Delan was registered by Francis Lubega Children Foundation during a home visit conducted on 10 July 2026. He lives with both parents in limited accommodation and depends fully on family members for feeding, positioning, movement and other daily needs.
At registration, his age was recorded as three and a half years. Since an exact date of birth was not provided, the beneficiary profile should retain the registration assessment date and avoid displaying a fixed age in public-facing content. His date of birth should be confirmed and entered later so the system can calculate his age automatically.
The foundation’s initial assessment identified an urgent need for medical review, therapy, rehabilitation and continued household assistance. Future support will be guided by professional recommendations and regular monitoring of Delan’s health, development and family situation.
