Home Assessment and Basic Needs Support
Date: 2026-07-10
On 10 July 2026, Francis Lubega Children Foundation conducted a home visit in Mawugulu Village to assess and register Muwanguzi Delan for continued support. Foundation staff met with his family, reviewed his living conditions and discussed the care he currently receives at home.
Location: Mawugulu Village yrs

About The assessment found that Delan required full assistance with feeding, movement, communication and daily care. He had not yet accessed the medical therapy and rehabilitation services needed to support his condition. The visit helped the foundation document his immediate needs and identify healthcare, therapy and family welfare as priority areas for follow-up. During the visit, the foundation provided sugar, soap, bread and other essential household supplies. This assistance was intended to address immediate family needs while a longer-term support plan is developed for Delan.

Impact Notes

The visit formally connected Delan and his family to the foundation’s support programme. The household supplies reduced some immediate financial pressure, while the assessment established a basis for future medical referrals, therapy support, rehabilitation services and continued monitoring.
