About Tendo
Tendo lives with her grandmother in Mawugulu Village and is enrolled in Primary Two. As a child with Down syndrome, she requires consistent care, family support and a stable home environment to help her meet her daily needs and continue with school.
On 10 July 2026, Francis Lubega Children Foundation visited Tendo and her household as part of its support to vulnerable children and families in the community. The visit provided an opportunity to assess her living situation, understand the household’s immediate needs and strengthen the foundation’s follow-up on her welfare and education.
During the visit, the foundation provided basic household items including soap, sugar, rice, bread and other essential supplies. This support was intended to improve the family’s wellbeing, reduce financial pressure on the caregiver and help ensure that Tendo’s basic needs are met as she continues her schooling.
