The activity also provided an opportunity to recognize the effort staff had contributed throughout the year in supporting vulnerable children, families and communities. By investing in staff wellbeing and positive team relationships, the foundation aims to maintain a motivated team capable of delivering its programmes effectively.
On 30 December 2025, Francis Lubega Children’s Foundation held a Staff End-of-Year Outing at Coco Beach as part of its commitment to staff welfare, appreciation and team cohesion. The activity gave staff an opportunity to step away from routine duties, reflect on the year’s work and spend time together outside the normal working environment.
The outing was attended by six staff members, Ms. Viola, Mrs. Florence, Ms. Prossie, Ms. Racheal, Ms. Bettina and Mr. Anthony. FLCF facilitated transportation, lunch and recreational activities for the team, allowing staff to relax, interact informally and strengthen relationships across their different roles.
Impact Notes
The outing contributed to improved staff morale, stronger interpersonal relationships and a greater sense of appreciation among team members. It also reinforced FLCF’s recognition that staff wellbeing and motivation are important to the quality and consistency of services provided to beneficiaries.
