About On 10 July 2026, Francis Lubega Children Foundation visited Majo and her family in Naziga Village and provided essential household supplies. The items included sugar, soap, bread and other basic necessities required for the family’s daily wellbeing. The support was provided as part of the foundation’s continuing assistance to Majo, a child with Down syndrome who lives with her parents. By helping the household meet immediate needs, the foundation aims to reduce financial strain and enable the family to concentrate more effectively on Majo’s care, health and development. Foundation staff also used the visit to engage with the family, observe Majo’s current situation and identify any areas that may require further follow-up or additional assistance.
Impact Notes
The assistance helped the family meet immediate household needs and reduced some of the financial pressure associated with Majo’s daily care. The visit also strengthened ongoing contact between the foundation and the family, allowing future support to be planned according to her changing needs.
